      At KH&M's Siblings Are Us, we believe that the siblings of children with special needs deserve to be recognized, supported, and celebrated for the unique role they play. These siblings often navigate complex emotions and responsibilities, quietly offering strength and love behind the scenes. Our mission is to create safe, uplifting spaces where they can express themselves freely, build confidence, and know without question: “I matter. I am loved. I am just as important.” Through mentorship, peer connection, creative programs, and leadership development, we help siblings discover their voice, embrace their own identity, and grow into the resilient, compassionate individuals they are meant to be. 

      Our work is driven by a strong foundation of values: empathy, patience, resilience, leadership, and unconditional love and support, along with compassion, integrity, and accountability. These guide our every action and ensure we serve with purpose and heart. By shining a light on these often-overlooked siblings, KH&M’s Siblings Are Us aims to empower them to strengthen key areas of their lives—including their mental and physical health, academic performance, behavior, sports involvement, self-control, self-esteem, and personal relationships. Most importantly, we strive to help them build stronger, more loving connections with their families and their sibling(s) with special needs. At KH&M, we are more than an organization—we are a family committed to helping siblings not only be seen but thrive.
