Our How: Mission
At KH&M's Siblings Are Us, our mission is to empower, uplift, and celebrate the often-overlooked siblings of children with special needs and other health challenges. These siblings carry a quiet strength and make daily sacrifices that often go unrecognized. We exist to change that narrative—because they, too, deserve to feel seen, heard, and valued.
We uplift these siblings by providing emotional support, leadership development, creative outlets, and community-building programs tailored to their unique needs. Through mentorship, workshops, retreats, and peer connections, we create safe spaces where siblings can share their stories, build confidence, and discover their own identity beyond their caregiving role.
Rooted in compassion, integrity, and accountability, we are dedicated to treating every individual with dignity and respect—ensuring our resources are used effectively to create lasting, positive impact in the lives of those who need it most.
